Here and Now

This past weekend, in the present, I went to a Sci Fi Toy Expo in Plano, Tx. I got to meet and talk to a lot of neat people. I saw Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar, Star Trek Next Generation), Gates McFadden (Beverly Crusher, Star Trek Next Generation), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca from Star Wars), Alan Ruck (Star Trek Generations, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Spin City), Doug Jones (Hellboy) and Karen Allen (Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Scrooged, Animal House, etc.) It was kind of cool seeing these people just walking around the convention. No one bothered them. Anyway, I got to meet and talk to Karen Allen for a few....seconds. What do you say? Hmmm. Oh well, I got her autograph on my Marion Ravenwood (Karen Allen) Indiana Jones action figure because I'm a geek.
