A team of British scientists has set sail on a voyage to examine why a huge chunk of the earth's crust is missing, deep under the Atlantic Ocean -- a phenomenon that challenges conventional ideas about how the earth works.

At a laboratory in Germany, volunteers slide into a donut-shaped MRI machine and perform simple tasks, such as deciding whether to add or subtract two numbers, or choosing which of two buttons to press. They have no inkling that scientists in the next room are trying to read their minds — using a brain scan to figure out their intention before it is turned into action. Intwesting....

The world's first female astronaut Valentina Tereshkova, marking her 70th birthday on Tuesday, says she still dreams of flying to Mars -- even on a one-way ticket. What a way to go???

Off-Duty NORTHWEST AIRLINES employee charged with assault on flight; woman says man ejaculated on her...

chool district: 6th graders had sex in class while teacher was present... They should make kids wait until at least jr high before letting them have sex in class.

NASA officials say the space agency is capable of finding nearly all the asteroids that might pose a devastating hit to Earth, but there isn't enough money to pay for the task so it won't get done. Oh, well that makes sense. How about taking some of that funky money from crazy stuff that is not needed anyway and putting it towards saving ourselves from those asteroids??? The dinosaurs did the same thing. People think dinosaurs were dumb animals but they were very intelligent and acted more like us. They too wanted to spend their money on other things and the big one came. No more dinosaurs. Take notice. There is a crazy person at my computer, controlling my body, and should be exterminated.

The giant palm salamander of Central America shoots out its tongue with more instantaneous power than any known muscle in the animal kingdom. ....and that's why the ladies love him.

A helicopter is not necessarily a match for an angry moose. Instead of lying down after being shot with a tranquilizer dart, a moose charged a hovering helicopter used by a wildlife biologist, damaging the aircraft's tail rotor and forcing it to the ground. Take that you crazy flying thing that won't leave me alone. How ya like me now, biotch?

A new dinosaur species was a plant-eater with yard-long horns over its eyebrows, suggesting an evolutionary middle step between older dinosaurs with even larger horns and the small-horned creatures that followed. Evolution? We don't say that word around here. EvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolutionEvolution

A Mexican man has discovered dozens of dinosaur footprints dating back up to 110 million years along the banks of a dried river. See story above. Evolution

Teenager leaves "deposit" in bank. Blahahahahahahahahaha Deposit!!!!!

Denver Unveils Parking Meters for Homeless... The old parking meters have been placed at various locations in downtown, including Skyline Park. The idea is to encourage people to put the money into the parking meters instead of giving to panhandlers. Money raised from the meters will go to organizations fighting homelessness. Denver should go to hell. Of course you know they'll be skimming this money and it'll go in some rich fat dudes back pocket. Listen people, I don't mean to be harsh but.... if you see a homeless person and you want to help him, give him the money not some "I'm an agent, let me get this money to them" company. If you put the money in the homeless persons hand, regardless of what he does with it, you know you've done something to help the fellow man. That's what life's all about. Most people take, take, take and never give. I think Denver should get out of the way and leave them alone but that's just my opinion dude.

Creature Regrows Entire Body from One Blood Vessel...

More than 400 movie, TV and theater costumes were up for auction Tuesday at Bonhams in London, in what the British auction house called the country's largest such sale. I want new additions to my wardrobe. I think I'll jump on the company jet and take a look.
