The 78th Natchitoches Christmas Festival is this weekend. Sooooooo much fun. You oughtta be there. What is the Christmas festival in Natchitoches? It's a daylong celebration with arts, crafts and food vendors, entertainment, a parade and spectacular fireworks & laser show follow the lighting of 300,000+ standard size multi-colored Christmas bulbs and 77+ riverbank set pieces. Me and my sweetie will surely be there.

A Father Christmas will have a webcam in his grotto to overcome parents' concerns after a number of high-profile pedophile cases in Britain in the past few years.

The computer term "master/slave," which was banned as racially offensive by a Los Angeles County purchasing department, was named the most politically incorrect term of the year on Thursday. Who really cares what is politically correct?

Italy's first "shelter" for divorced dads will open in the northern city of Bolzano on Saturday as fathers step up the fight for their rights in a country long dominated by the Italian "mamma."

Sydney Mayor Clover Moore has been cast as the Grinch who stole Christmas after decorating her city's town hall with just one meager Christmas tree out of fear of offending non-Christians. It's only a numbers game. Out of fear of offending non-Christians, she offended the Christians which make up the majority of her votes.

Thieves masquerading as NATO soldiers stole a million euros ($1.3 million) from a Bosnian security van on the last day of the alliance's peace mission in the country.

A school bus driver who chatted about stem cell research with her pupils was fired for inappropriate behavior. Whatever happened to independent thought? Socrates was executed by poisoning for his ideas. Galileo was put under house arrest for his ideas on the Copernican system. What a crazy world we live in.

Police followed a trail of doughnuts to find a stolen Krispy Kreme delivery truck. No way!!!

Formula One driver Ralf Schumacher has scrapped plans to invest in erotic products firm Beate Uhse because rude jokes on German television were damaging his reputation. Oh my reputation. Pansy!

A nurse's aide who quit her job to take a cruise hit the jackpot. Carol Baird won a $321,694 slot machine jackpot aboard a Carnival Cruise Lines ship off the U.S. Virgin Islands.

A 6-inch hook was embedded in a man's skull in an accident at a heavy equipment dealership Thursday, but he was in stable condition despite still having a portion of the hook in his head. Youch!!!

How's your credit? California man has 1,497 valid credit cards with a credit line of about $1.7 million. And I say Damn!!!!

An Erie County homeowner returned from a Florida visit to even warmer climes — his house, where police say someone had broken in and had turned up the man's thermostat all the way.

Parents of a teenage girl have sued Nick Nolte, alleging their daughter was drugged and sexually assaulted at a party at the actor's Malibu home two years ago. Did Nick drug the bitch? No!!! The girl's parents are seeking unspecified damages, which means they want a shit load of money. If you're gonna sue someone you have to make sure you sue someone with deep pockets. I blame the parents. You are sucky parents.

Lynn Anderson, who won a Grammy for "Rose Garden" in 1970, was charged with drunk driving Thursday after police found her passed out in her car on the shoulder of a highway. When officers tapped on the window, Lynn reportedly said, "I beg your pardon? I never promised you a rose garden".

British singer-songwriter, painter, writer, and rock 'n' roller extraordinaire Kevin Coyne passed away today (December 2) at his home in Nuremberg, Germany. Coyne was "discovered" by the late John Peel and, in 1971, when Doors frontman Jim Morrison died, Coyne was asked to fill his shoes.

Nothing says Christmas like Bing Crosby!!!

New Tupac Shakur Album Victimized By Bootleggers And Internet Piracy. New Tupac? The guy's been dead for years. Who cares anyway? I think that when an artist dies, his music should become property of the people and not of some record company scamming off other peoples talent. Take Kurt Cobain for example. Who do you think made the most money from the whole Kurt Cobain era? The record company. After Cobains death, Nirvana music sold in record numbers. Record company executives are almost as bad as lawyers.

Earth’s defences may need to be boosted against risk of potentially deadly microbes returning on space probes from Mars. Check this one out.
