Pearl Jam will play a private show for fan club members in Chicago on August 2, three days before its headlining stint at the city's Lollapalooza festival, the rock group said on Tuesday. This surprises me in so many ways. Tickets for the show at the Vic Theatre will go on sale on Thursday, priced at $150 per pair (plus applicable fees). The Vic's capacity is about 1,400 people, according to the venue's web site. Oh, there's the catch.
