Thanks For The Memories

When I think of the holidays, I often think of Bob Hope entertaining the troops. Standing on some aircraft carrier, base camp, or other military venue, he would cheer up the troops and make them feel a little better about being alive. He always signed his autographs with Thanks for the Memories. The world needs another Bob Hope.

Here's a special christmas link for you. Enjoy.
I'm off for a few days for the holidays as many of you are but some aren't. I feel for you who have to work this Christmas. When I was a cop, I always worked Christmas. It wasn't bad though. I'll update when I can. Merry Christmas!!!

Don't bother making jokes. This family has heard them all. No, they don't communicate directly with Santa Claus. They don't celebrate the holidays year-round, and they certainly have some not-so-cheerful days. The smirks and the wisecracks are just part of life when your last name is Christmas, and especially so when two of your family members are named — no joke — Mary. You really should read this one. Strange name tie ins.
